Tron.. back to fight again

When I was younger, I saw Tron in the movies and thought it was awesome. It was back in 1982 when it was released and I can still remember seeing the Light Cycles on the big screen. Motorcycles weren't all that fancy then and watching a Light Cycle was amazing. Flash forward to today and a new Tron is working on getting released for us to enjoy and is currently titled Tron Legacy.

I heard that in this story, Flynn's son Sam is now 27 years old and is looking into his fathers disappearance. Sam ends up getting pulled into the digital world and finds his father. They continue on a cyber-journey to stop the current evil of that universe which is now more dangerous and advanced.

Check out the Tron 2 Blog to see more updates and pictures from the up coming movie as well and see the tailer at Apple.com

Still more about Motorcycles..the Can Am Spyder

Ever seen a motorcycle with 3 wheels. Usually the 2 wheels are in the back but what if they were in the front. That is how the Can Am Spyder is made. With it's Y build, it is more stable than most other 3 wheelers going round corners and at high speed. It has Stability Control, Traction Control and Anti-Lock Brakes to make sure you are safe. On top of all that, you can not start it without the correct coded key. Here is a pic that shows a rider at high speed in the rain. I don't suggest going too fast in the rain, but is your gonna do it then this is the bike to be on.
Not long ago if you wanted to ride on one of these, you could not go to a nearby dealer but that is no longer the case. We have 5 dealers in Pa now ( YAHOO )so you can see it, ride it and take it home.

Considering buying a Motorcycle.. Now may be the right time

We all hear of the the stimulus package that the President put into action. I hear and hear but don't see it doing much but I finally found something in it that could be worth while. Looks like a motorcycle purchase is included and you can save up to 10% on your purchase, up to $2500. Here is an excerpt of an article I found that explains more.

Vehicles eligible for the motorcycle tax deduction added to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act are likely to include on-road and dual-sport motorcycles, as well as motor scooters and mopeds, according to the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA). The tax deduction -- first reported by the AMA on Feb. 14 -- was added at the eleventh hour to the landmark $787 billion stimulus package that President Barack Obama signed into law on Feb. 17. The law also includes a 10 percent tax credit up to $2,500 for street-legal electric motorcycles purchased by December 2011.

To illustrate the impact of the tax deduction, consider the case of a new motorcycle purchase of $10,500. For a 7.5 percent sales tax rate, the tax would be $787.50. To take advantage of the new law, purchasers would include that amount on their 2009 federal income tax return, meaning that their taxable income would be reduced by that amount before taxes are calculated. States set their own sales tax rates, so the actual amount of savings will depend on the taxpayer's state and tax rate.

Looking for a Contractor in Pa.. Here is a place to look

Looking for a Contractor is easy for me because there is more than one in the family, starting with WH Construction. I also try to do things myself but sometimes you have to break down and get an expert. KYW1060 posted an article that Contractors in PA must be registered with the state and that information can be found online at the Attorney Generals Site. The site has company descriptions, phone number and location and currently contains over 26,000 listings. It may not be the end all of your search, but its a good start.

It came from the deep..well, the sewer is kind of deep ya know..

Here is a very disturbing find, at least for the guy who ran the camera down the sewers under Cameron Village in Raleigh, North Carolina. It looks like something pulled from a movie. You know, the aliens heart beating or the chest of some poor soul before the alien breaks out.( hmm how many times can you say alien in a sentence.) An expert on freshwater bryozoa and an officer with the International Bryozoology Association, Dr. Timothy S. Wood, says that it is worms.. Here is what he said..".... They are clumps of annelid worms, almost certainly tubificids (Naididae, probably genus Tubifex). Normally these occur in soil and sediment, especially at the bottom and edges of polluted streams. In the photo they have apparently entered a pipeline somehow, and in the absence of soil they are coiling around each other. The contractions you see are the result of a single worm contracting and then stimulating all the others to do the same almost simultaneously, so it looks like a single big muscle contracting. "

My response, "That's nasty and cool''" Check out the video
